877-759-5760 - Spoofing
Did you get a call from our number? MWG Senior Services has been spoofed!
Spoofing is when someone imitates a phone number, so it looks like we are calling, when we did not. Recently, someone spoofed our number pretending to be Medicare to obtain your personal information. Our direct line is 877-759-5760, which is the number they are calling from. However, when we dial out, our local number starting with 601 will show up on your caller ID. We have filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), but unfortunately, that’s all we can do. We were told normally the scammers will use one number for a couple of days, then change to a different one.
Medicare Supplement Agent Services
If you have a question about your policy, would your Medicare Supplement agent be available for you to call? Would your agent check your PDP plan EVERY year, free of charge?

With Medicare changing costs each year, most people are searching the Internet for the best Medicare Supplement plans 2018. Let's take a brief look at some of the differences between the best Medicare Supplement plans 2018.
2017 Medicare Open Enrollment
With the 2017 Medicare Open Enrollment just around the corner, I'm sure you've noticed an increase in Medicare advertisements on TV, billboards, and in the mail. With all of the advertisements, sometimes it's hard to know where to turn. Everyone claims that their plan is the one you need. Wouldn't you like to have someone you can talk to that will make a recommendation based on your specific needs? Typically, people come to us because they are inundated from all of the advertisements they've seen and they want us to educate them on how the different plans will affect them.
New Medicare Cards
As you may have heard, new Medicare cards are in the works for all Medicare eligible beneficiaries. New cards are mailing out between April 2018 and April 2019 to the address Medicare has on file for you. If you have moved or have a change of address, visit your online Social Security account at My Social Security Account. MWG Senior Services is available to help guide you through your transition to the new Medicare card.
Annual Enrollment Period
Mid October through the first part of December is often referred to as “Open Enrollment Period” or “Annual Enrollment Period”. They go hand in hand, and here’s why. During this time, you can not only make changes to your stand-alone drug plan, but you can also make changes to your Medicare Advantage plan (depending on which one you have). We recommend having someone like us in your corner to assist you through these changes. Our only requirement for this annual assistance is that you sign up with a Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage plan through our advisors. If you do not currently have one of those plans through us, give us a call today and one of our advisors will be glad to help. They can be reached at (877) 759-5760, option 1. The Annual Enrollment Period comes every year at the same time, beginning October 15th and ending December 7th. Some clients are under the impression that the Annual Enrollment period is the only time you can change or get a Medicare Supplement. This is not true. The good thing about Medicare Supplements is that you can change them anytime throughout the year. This Annual Enrollment Period is only for making changes in a stand-alone prescription drug plan or a Medicare Advantage plan.
